About This Role

We are looking for a skilled Large Area Maintenance Shelters (LAMS) Technician to support the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of LAMS structures at SYNERJE Global Solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills in fabric structure maintenance, tensioned shelter installation, and modular maintenance facility repair.

Key Accountabilities
  • Structure Installation: Assist in constructing, setting up, and anchoring LAMS structures, following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including structural inspections, fabric repairs, and hardware replacements.
  • Compliance Verification: Ensure LAMS structures meet environmental and safety regulations, including wind load assessments, fire safety standards, and storm readiness.
  • Electrical and HVAC Support: Collaborate with electricians and HVAC technicians for proper power distribution, lighting, ventilation, and climate control within the shelters.
  • Quality Control Management: Maintain inspection records, maintenance logs, and service reports to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Protocol Compliance: Adhere to OSHA, DoD, and manufacturer safety protocols for working at heights, handling heavy materials, and operating tools/equipment.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in LAMS assembly, maintenance, or industrial tent structures.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with fabric tension structures, frame anchoring systems, HVAC integration, and electrical grounding.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • OSHA 10/30 Safety Certification
  • Fall Protection & Confined Space Training
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel to various locations as required for project execution.
