About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and design of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet technical standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. As a Senior Infrastructure Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting site assessments, performing hydraulic analyses, designing road alignments, and stormwater collection systems;
  • Coordinating with utility providers to deliver sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions;
  • Assessing potential construction sites, checking existing structures for upgrades, and analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects;
  • Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis;
  • Carrying out technical and feasibility studies and drawing up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications;
  • Creating drawings and schematics of projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software;
  • Compiling and submitting permit applications to local and state agencies verifying that projects comply with various regulations;
  • Ensuring that building materials used in particular projects are in compliance with the projects' specifications and are subjected to the appropriate testing procedures;
  • Completing cost estimations for materials, equipment, and labor for all phases of construction projects, and developing the complete budget to determine a project's economic feasibility;
  • Monitoring progress and compiling project status reports;
  • Complying with standards, guidelines, and regulations, and delivering technical documentation/files as required;
  • Managing projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner; and
  • Performing a final evaluation of completed structures to ensure compliance to local codes and specifications.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • Eight to ten years of experience as a Civil Engineer;
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design tools;
  • Commitment to complying with various codes and regulatory standards for quality and safety;
  • Able to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities, and then develop and implement effective solutions;
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills;
