Senior Microbiologist

Job Overview:

Domo Ventures W.L.L. is seeking a highly skilled Microbiological Research Scientist to conduct experiments, analyze data, and develop new products and processes in our Kuwait laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and analyze data to identify and characterize microorganisms.
• Develop and optimize microbiological processes for the production of new products.
• Perform quality control tests to ensure product safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in microbiology.
• Write reports and present findings to management and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all experiments and results.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory setting.
• Must have a valid medical license to practice.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and procedures.
• Experience with microbial isolation, identification, and characterization.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Experience with biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
