About the Role

The Safety Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees, contractors, and clients by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures. This includes conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions, and delivering safety training and toolbox talks to staff.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and prevent incidents.
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  3. Provide safety training and toolbox talks to staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  4. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and ensure follow-up actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence.
  5. Maintain records of safety audits, incidents, and equipment certifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
  1. Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial settings.
  3. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification preferred.
  4. Good knowledge of local HSE regulations and international safety standards.
  5. Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.
