We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a Facility Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the engineering, inspection, and surveyor teams, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and operational safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to engineering, inspectors, and surveyor teams.
  • Direct and manage inspections for construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
  • Review detailed designs.
  • Offer advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
  • Oversee and mentor staff, liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc., and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
  • Implement best practice engineering methods.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Support establishment of organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies.
  • Analyze data and write reports regarding existing and potential civil studies and projects.
  • Evaluate the potential risks of specific projects, undertaking risk management in specialist roles.
  • Generate Statements of Work and review Subcontractor Technical Proposals for accuracy and acceptance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, customers, and others in developing programs for new projects or planning existing major repair projects.
  • Conduct job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data.
  • Analyze submittals and materials for approval or disapproval in writing, following up on deficiencies found.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
