Gama Aviation LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Kuwait. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in quality management, regulatory compliance, and aviation experience.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the organization's operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. This includes monitoring activities, conducting audits, and providing guidance to management and employees.

This is a fixed-term contract position until June 2025, offering a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to gain experience in a government contract environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Quality Manager to support the Compliance Monitoring Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support compliance monitoring, including feedback systems and corrective actions as necessary;
  • Monitor activities under Part 145 to ensure adherence to approved procedures;
  • Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with the contract;
  • Monitor compliance with Part 145 and Part M requirements;
  • Accompany auditors throughout audits to ensure full awareness of findings;
  • Jointly manage the Part 145 quality policy, plan, and audit procedures;
  • Share responsibility for maintaining the currency of the MOE;
  • Deputise for the Quality Manager within Maintenance and Engineering functions in Kuwait;
  • Conduct compliance investigations as required;
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with EASA regulations in accordance with the QMS.
Requirements
  • EASA Quality Manager Form 4 approval for Part M and P145;
  • Security clearance required for the role;
  • Capable line manager;
  • Active team player with excellent collaboration skills;
  • Broad aviation technical knowledge and experience within Engineering and Maintenance;
  • Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and completed training;
  • Experience in conducting safety/compliance audits and inspections;
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, internal and external;
  • Human Factors training, Safety Management Systems, EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety;
  • Commercial awareness and flexibility to travel when required.
