Job Opportunity: Drilling and Completions Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our operations with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). This position involves designing, planning, and executing safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling and completion programs.

About the Role:
  • Develop well designs and operational programs for drilling and completions.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with HSE policies, drilling safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee and support field execution, ensuring technical integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, well proposals, AFEs, end-of-well reports, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with service companies, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Attend and lead meetings with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MSc or B.Sc. in Engineering or Scientific Discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience in a well engineering role (drilling or completions).
  • Demonstrated expertise in well design, well planning, well control principles, environmental compliance, and operational execution.
  • Experience with both field and office operations within an Integrated Services Oilfield Services (OFS) company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard well engineering software.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
