About the Position
We are looking for a highly skilled Metrology and Calibration Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing requirements and developing new measurement techniques and approaches related to electrical, electronic, and microwave measurement areas.
You will evaluate and analyze equipment performance, developing calibration methodology and testing protocols. As part of this role, you will also conduct liaison and coordination with technical societies and engineering facilities of other countries to remain current with state-of-the-art and new measurement techniques.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement laboratory operational, environmental, performance, and safety criteria, ensuring seamless integration and maintenance.
- Liaise with government agencies and stakeholders to provide expert advice and guidance on metrology-related matters.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to identify areas for improvement in measurement techniques and equipment performance.
- Lead the development and implementation of calibration procedures for assigned equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, physics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 12 years of experience in precision measurement and calibration, with a focus on electronic precision measurement equipment and calibration laboratory reference standards.
- Secret clearance and US citizenship required.
