Laboratory Analyst

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team at Sperton Global AS. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical analyses of oil and gas samples to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of cement slurry designs based on oil-well conditions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and centrifuges, ensuring accurate results.
• Provide technical support during additive selection and fluid design.
• Assist in performing quality assurance tests on products and prepare laboratory reports.
• Maintain and update the database of slurry tests and designs used in the field.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for customers.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with API and ASTM operating/testing procedures is a plus.
• Eligibility Criteria: Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment.
