About the Role

As a Communication & Interior Design Manager at IKEA - Al Homaizi Limited, you will play a key role in leading and developing our store's Com&In team. Your primary focus will be to increase home furnishing interest and create demand for home furnishing solutions in the local market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the store Com&In team to utilize knowledge of IKEA home furnishings and people's lives at home to grow business.
  • Partner with the store manager to stimulate and increase interest in home furnishings among co-workers.
  • Create and implement workshops to generate creative directions.
  • Secure vitality and seasonality in the store through commercial calendar development.
  • Ensure effective range presentation, optimal store layout, and store communication that builds the IKEA brand.
  • Contribute to the store business plan by applying knowledge of consumer shopping behavior.
  • Identify current and future business needs to recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing Com&In team.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with home furnishings the IKEA way (living situations, style groups, store communication, furnish with light).
  • Range presentation skills, including layout as a commercial tool and display techniques.
  • Understanding of life at home in the local market and market research outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, including goal-setting and creativity leadership.
  • Extensive experience in design-oriented roles, such as interior design or visual merchandising.
