Job Overview:

Tiqmo Kuwait is committed to maintaining a robust AML/CTF framework to mitigate financial crime risks. We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead this initiative as the Assistant Vice President of AML & CTF.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective AML/CTF strategy aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the AML/CTF team, fostering a culture of high performance and professional growth.
  • Analyze high-risk transactions, making informed decisions on processing, holding, or rejecting based on thorough risk assessments.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in a previous AML/CTF or compliance role with a minimum of 5+ in a managerial role at regulated financial services, payments, or FinTech companies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to relevant audiences, including C-suite level executives, as well as regulators.
