Stock Operations Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Operations Coordinator to support the efficient operation of our stores. This role will work closely with the Store Operations Manager to ensure store locations are maintained to the highest levels and that the brand image is consistently represented by the in-store environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing projects to improve retail operations, handling goods in store, and caring for product while ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs), guidelines, and company procedures.
Retail Operations:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines, and conduct regular audits to verify store compliance.
- Support the onboarding of new team members, providing necessary information about store operations policies and guidelines.
- Liaise with external parties to ensure required permits or documentation are in order.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and/or Store Manager on fire safety and health and safety procedures.
- Care for and protect products according to company guidelines.
- Manage day-to-day goods receipt, storage, and preparation for sale.
- Ensure shop-to-shop and returns transfers are compliant with company guidelines and timeline.
Store Maintenance:
- Coordinate cleaning companies used for the store.
- Support the manager with contractor management in store.
- Act promptly on store emergencies to ensure timely repairs and service.
- Liaise with Loss Prevention and Security on store issues.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all store operational issues.
- Support after-sales process and ensure store team and clients are updated.
- Ensure staff uniforms are ordered and distributed in a timely manner.
- Maintain back-of-house standards for an excellent client experience.
- Train Client Advisers on BOH organization and stock care.
Stock & Inventory:
- Plan and execute inventory checks across all stores.
- Support stores with inventory checks and reconciliations.
- Prepare stores for sales and transfer out of sale.
- Manage in-store damaged stock.
- Monitor negative-on-hand and outstanding consignments.
- Coordinate cycle counts according to company guidelines.
- Provide training and guidance to minimize stock loss and damages.
- Manage OMNI orders for guaranteed service levels.
- Ensure correct flow of adjustments.
- Document theft incidents accordingly.
- Achieve operational KPIs and prioritize client needs for overall store performance.
- Monitor in-transit shipments and liaise with relevant departments.
Logistics & Supplies:
- Evaluate shipping suppliers and couriers for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Team Collaboration:
- Demonstrate high professionalism in behaviors, including communication and teamwork.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide quality feedback.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders with a service-oriented approach.
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail operations and improving business efficiency.
- Flexibility with travel and occasional weekend/evening shifts.
- High organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Motivation to work independently or as part of a team.
- SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE RECORD AND ABILITY TO DELIVER RETAIL EXCELLENCE.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility with team members and external resources.
- Drive to deliver outstanding results.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English, additional languages a plus.
