The Senior Cardiac Specialist position at Taiba Hospital is designed to attract highly skilled professionals who can deliver top-notch care to patients in the field of Interventional cardiology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on complex cardiovascular issues. This involves a comprehensive approach that includes numerous specialized treatments, procedures, diagnostic tools, and therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective communication strategies to collaborate with patients and understand their symptoms and health concerns.
  • Administer exercise tests, diagnostic image tests, and cardiac catheterizations to diagnose heart conditions.
  • Examine echocardiogram results to assess the heart's functioning.
  • Utilize data analysis to inform treatment decisions.
  • Perform complex interventional procedures like:
  • Coronary Angiograms and/or Cardiac Catheterization including Left Heart and/or Right Heart Catheterizations.
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI).
  • Balloon Angioplasty.
  • Stent Implantation.
  • Advise surgeons on patient procedures.
  • Organize Emergency and Rescue Procedures in the hospital for patients presenting with Acute Coronary Syndrome and/or cardiogenic shock.
  • Offer consultation services requested by other medical specialties in the field of Cardiology.
  • Evaluate and refer appropriate patients under your care to other suitable medical facilities.
  • Supervise the duties of assigned junior staff.
