Horticulture and Landscape Supply Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Horticulture and Landscape Supply Buyer to join our team at Alghanim Industries. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality horticulture and landscape supplies for our garden center and landscape contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Purchase Order Management: Determine types and quantities of products to be purchased based on sales projections and business needs. Ensure timely delivery of products from local and international suppliers.
  2. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance with company standards.
  3. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on competitor pricing, product offerings, and market trends. Identify opportunities to improve product offerings and reduce costs.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and adjust pricing strategies to sell through seasonal products in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., horticulture, agriculture, business)
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and garden center products
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
