About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Hotel Guest Services Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of guest services, including check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign rooms to guests based on their preferences and availability
- Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets for them
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Review and track requests for room changes and communicate with staff accordingly
- Confirm reservations and cancellations, and verify guest information
- Review out-of-order rooms daily and ensure rates match market codes
- Verify and adjust billing for guests, and file necessary paperwork or documentation
- Set up and process guest check-ins and check-outs, and activate room keys
- Secure valid payment from guests and identify any over-commitments
- Perform duplicate reservation checks and block rooms as necessary
- Run daily reports and follow up with guests to ensure their requests have been met
