Job Description:

Overview

The ADPE-Service Desk Administrator is the primary point of contact for customer service and technical support. This role involves responding to and resolving computer, printer, and network issues for customers. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate response to all customers who contact the Service Desk.
  • Resolve computer, printer, and network issues for customers.
  • Install, configure, and repair software issues for Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues at the desktop level.
  • Configure local PC connections to network printers.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Server connectivity issues.
  • Install and troubleshoot other software and peripheral devices as required.
  • Monitor Tier 1/2 server operations and performance using appropriate software applications and tools.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Baseline certification and computing environment certification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Environment:

The work environment will be 95% indoor and 5% outdoor. The outdoor work environment may exceed temperatures of 100 F.
