Overview

This role is responsible for the safekeeping and management of weapons and sensitive items in an armament storage facility.

The Arms Room Custodian will work under the supervision of the Armament Supervisor to ensure the security and integrity of all stored items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, logging, inventorying, controlling, and distributing sensitive items.
  • Maintaining a 100% inventory of all assigned weapons and associated equipment.
  • Ensuring all sensitive items within the arm room are properly secured.
  • Conducting daily inventory checks and ensuring compliance with relevant Army Regulations and Procedures.
  • Issuing and receiving weapons from authorized personnel.
  • Maintaining the administrative shop's filing system according to ARIMS standards.
  • Performing other duties as assigned while adhering to pertinent Army regulations.
