About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Ubuntu Foundations Engineering team to maintain and enhance the Ubuntu bootloader stack.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems, hardware architectures, and firmware development.

Responsibilities include collaborating with a distributed team, defining and shaping the boot architecture of Ubuntu, and contributing to feature and bug fixes in projects including Grub, shim, u-boot, and associated tools.
