Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing individual and group counseling sessions to support students' personal and academic growth.
  • Developing and implementing programs to promote mental wellness, cultural awareness, and independence among students.
  • Collaborating with faculty and staff to create a supportive campus environment and address environmental factors impacting student success.
  • Managing community-based referral programs and maintaining confidential student files.
  • Providing crisis intervention and emergency support services to students.
  • Organizing health fairs and conducting workshops on healthy student living.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in higher education and directly with college students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the capacity to navigate complex situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students in higher education settings.
