This position is located in Kuwait and supports LOGCAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including indoor lighting, electrical systems, primary power distribution systems, panel boards, outdoor facility lighting, construction projects, and HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate will respond to emergency power outages and back-up system failures, monitor and test various electrical systems, coordinate inspections for contractors performed work in renovations and new construction projects, and ensure personnel exhibit superior workmanship and focus on a quality end product.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on facility electrical systems and apparatuses.
- Supervise inspections and repairs on Main Power Distribution Systems, Panel Boards, and indoor/outdoor lighting systems.
- Conduct project review and continual training of assigned personnel.
- Monitor and test various electrical systems.
- Oversee repair to line voltage for all HVAC systems.
- Respond to emergency power outages and back-up system failures.
- Maintain accountability and serviceability of assigned toolsets and equipment.
- Conduct tests and inspect equipment, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
- Evaluate compliance with UFC, MEW, Performance Work Statement, and applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
