Job Overview

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team as a Service Desk Administrator.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide front-line customer service support, responding to and resolving computer, printer, and network issues for customers contacting the service desk in-person, by phone, or using a ticketing system.

    • Assist site administrators to ensure efficient use of service desk resources.

    • Support daily functions of computer, network, and software management for the site and all users.

    • Respond to customers with person-to-person interaction, troubleshooting, information exchange, and help with issue resolution.

    • Provide telephone customer support for incoming and follow-up calls used for initial troubleshooting.

    • Work 12-hour shifts utilizing call management software and other tools to log and manage trouble tickets.

    • Determine accurate call routing for trouble tickets that cannot be resolved immediately at the service desk.

    • Troubleshoot Microsoft OS issues on authorized software and setup Microsoft Office.

    • Manage Network Services with Server Manager, Print Queue Management, and CISCO VMPS Administration.

  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in providing technical support and customer service.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
