About the Job

The DevOps Analyst plays a pivotal role in our team, assisting in the development and maintenance of end-to-end toolchain and automation scripts. They collaborate with the team to ensure continuous integration, testing, security, and deployment processes are efficient and effective.

This role requires strong scripting skills, knowledge of infrastructure resources, and familiarity with deployment tools and containerization technologies.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the end-to-end DevSecOps Toolchain, including infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain automation scripts for DevOps processes.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining automated testing scripts.
  • Support the development and maintenance of RBA (Robotic Process Automation) bots.
  • Assist in governance and maintenance of Application Performance Management (APM) tooling.
  • Participate in governance and maintenance of cloud-native (Kubernetes) platforms.
  • Support development of custom Kubernetes operators to meet automation needs.
  • Provide assistance to application teams regarding cloud-native design and best practices.
  • Serve as the main interface between application teams and other technology domains, such as infrastructure and security.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to DevOps practices.
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, environmental requirements.
Requirements

To be considered for the position, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

You will need to possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Go Language.
  • Understanding of various types of infrastructure resources.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases.
  • Familiarity with deployment tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Spinnaker, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of 'Infrastructure as Code' tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of monitoring concepts.
  • Ability to drive the automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Deploying software solutions.
  • Proficiency and understanding of agile methodology.
  • System support process specific to the telecom industry.
  • High reliability in executing tasks within expected timeframe and to expected quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and frame key issues.
  • Ability to communicate and translate technical solutions to internal stakeholders across the company.
