This position will be physically located in a region that supports LOGCAP.
The Account Administrator will monitor, maintain, and reconcile government and company communication device bills for the TBRO; requiring a high level of knowledge of accounting practices and financial analysis. The Account Administrator will also serve as technical monitors for mobile communication device subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Input all government billing data from reports into spreadsheets and download company mobile communication device data.
- The Account Administrator prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual internal and external financial reports.
- Compiles, sorts, and reconciles data monthly to ensure accuracy for monthly billing reports. Analyzes usage data and cost history, reporting trends and projections to management with government and company MCD bills.
- Assists management in using financial data to recommend alternatives to resolve problematic issues.
- Monitors and records changes to reports from directorates and return of payment to the office. Submits reports to finance for payment.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual internal and external financial reports.
- Secures acquisition and distribution of MCD chips. Handles customer service duties and arranges repair or replacement as required on MCD chips.
- Acts as Technical Monitor for Company cell phone service. Monitors and documents subcontractor performance to contract standards. Serves as point of contact for MCD related issues between company and subcontractor.
- Maintains administrative files and records according to AR 25-400-2.
- Recommends establishment of policies and procedures affecting TBRO accounting system. Participates in development and updating of departmental work instructions, Statement of Work, and Project Operating Procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- An associate degree in accounting or related business subject is required. Equivalent experience may be considered as a substitute.
- A valid driver's license and ability to obtain U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License is required.
- Two years analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports is required.
- Three years experience in office administration and customer service role is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels is required.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required.
- Collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork is required.
- Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, understanding overall impact of decisions is required.
- Ability to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion is required.
- Demonstrated effective face-to-face and telephone customer service skills are required.
- Demonstrated high-level organizational and planning skills, managing workflow efficiently and accurately is required.
- Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel applications, intermediate proficiency in Word and Outlook applications is required.
- Ability to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion is required.
- Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal.
- Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with adverse and harsh conditions.
- Includes some industrial production environment conditions.
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where potential exists for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
