The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE coordination, with a focus on the oil and gas industry. You'll be responsible for monitoring site activities, providing guidance to stakeholders on HSE issues, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the implementation of HSE plans and procedures for EPC contractors.
- Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
- Providing guidance to EPC contractor management teams on HSE issues, including risk assessment and control measures.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Collaborating with EPC contractors to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with KOC, regulatory bodies, and EPC contractors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Fire & Safety, Environment, Production, Industrial, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Civil).
- Minimum years of post-graduation experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on HSE.
- Practical experience with HSE management systems, reporting, and audit procedures.
- Ability to develop, update, and maintain in-house procedures.
- Knowledge of local and international safety standards and norms.
