Flights Operation Specialist - Airfield Ground Services

The Flights Operation Specialist provides critical support to flight operations by performing tasks related to aircraft services, safety, and security. Tasks include but are not limited to providing guidance and instructions to pilots during taxiing, conducting daily inspections of the airfield and surrounding areas, operating GSEs, and communicating effectively with other teams.

The key requirements for this position include possessing an FAA A&P certificate, being familiar with military aviation and associated safety procedures, and having the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide guidance and instructions to pilots during taxiing.
  2. Conduct daily inspections of the airfield and surrounding areas.
  3. Operate ground support equipment such as electrical power carts and engine starting carts.
  4. Communicate effectively with other teams.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  1. FAA A&P certificate.
  2. Familiarity with military aviation and associated safety procedures.
