Software Engineer Role
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining specialist Python tools to support the developer build and publication process. This includes tooling that builds snaps, charms, and more recently, rocks (OCI images).

Key Responsibilities
* Design and maintain specialist Python tools for developer experience
* Develop and implement software solutions using Python and other relevant technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of products and services

Requirements
* Expertise in Python and a strong understanding of its ecosystem
* Strong knowledge of modern GNU/Linux distributions and their components
* Good understanding of build systems and toolchains, including for cross-compilation
* Experience working with container technology, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD
