The responsibilities of the Strategic Talent Acquisition Professional include:

  • Liaising with managers/departments to determine staffing requirements and understanding business and job needs.
  • Reviewing and verifying Manpower Requisitions (MRFs) and initiating the recruitment process accordingly.
  • Coordinating with hiring managers in case of discrepancies or escalating if necessary.
  • Developing job postings and utilizing various internal and external systems, tools, applications, and platforms to advertise job vacancies as appropriate.
  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, interviews, and assessments to ensure skill and culture fit of candidates, implementing the STAR approach and other best practices.
  • Shortlisting candidates.
  • Coordinating with respective managers/supervisors and HR colleagues to schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates and facilitate the selection process.
  • Partnering with overseas hiring agencies for bulk recruitment and managing the overseas hiring process from start to end.
  • Conducting regular follow-ups to track progress and avoid delays.
  • Maintaining contact with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure that each step is completed on schedule, minimizing delays.
  • FOLLOWING UP WITH THE RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR ON ISSUING EMPLOYMENT OFFERS, SUBMITTING HIRING DOCUMENTS, AND NEW HIRES STATUS IN TERMS OF EXPECTED JOINING DATE AND PRE-ARRIVAL ONBOARDING PROCEDURES.
  • Maintaining and continuously updating all manpower requisitions status, candidate data/detail, and hiring status in the Oracle Fusion Recruitment Module and tracking sheets.
  • Managing the onboarding program for the new joiners – scheduling, logistics, materials, etc.
  • Ensuring that the new joiner is well-informed and completes all formalities related to employment.
  • Coordinating with respective departments for employee orientation and joining.
  • Assuming ownership of the total candidate experience from first contact till onboarding; throughout all candidate touchpoints and providing a positive experience.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and always upholding the brand and company values.
  • Collating market information, trends, data related to market workforce and sharing ideas with management to adapt job advertisements strategies, target markets, and C&B.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of Kuwait labor law, employee work eligibilities, and other legal requirements for employment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business; Masters in HR - preferred.

Certification: PHRi would be a plus.

Experience:2-4 years' experience in a similar job role.

Experience in using Oracle HCM would be a plus.

Skills:

Understand how to navigate LinkedIn & Bayt.

Familiar with Recruitment Cycle.

Labor Laws.

Worked with ERP system.

MS Office.
