Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Overview

">

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and manage all quality control operations in the production and delivery of ready-mix concrete.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and systems to ensure product compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ASTM, BS EN).">
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and analysis of raw materials, mixes, and final products.">
  • Ensure all concrete batches meet specifications for strength, workability, durability, and other performance metrics.">
  • Supervise and train lab technicians and quality control staff.">
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and site personnel to address any product quality issues.">
  • Maintain records and prepare quality assurance documentation and reports.">
  • Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.">
  • Investigate product failures and customer complaints, and implement corrective/preventive actions.">
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.">
  • Work closely with external consultants, regulatory agencies, and auditors as required.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within the ready-mix concrete or construction materials industry.">
  • Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, and testing procedures.">
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS EN, or equivalent.">
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and quality control software/systems.">
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.">
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.">
  • Certifications in concrete testing or quality management (e.g., ACI Certified, ISO 9001) are a plus.">
  • Ability to work in both laboratory and site environments.">
