About this Role

This position is physically located in Kuwait and is part of LOGCAP. We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate should have experience in data-analytics algorithm development, strong communications skills, and proficiency in both front-end web and back-end engine development. Key responsibilities include development, maintenance, and support of in-house web applications, development of intranet and internet webpages, and creation, operation, and maintenance of Share Point sites.


Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must be proficient with XML and have an understanding of Rules Management in Maximo. We are looking for someone skilled in inbound and outbound integration processing, XML, and Schemas, as well as XML Web. Key responsibilities include:



  • Development using C#, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with associated frameworks, databases, and backend technology
  • Development of standard and non-standard analytics, including statistical and graph analytics, machine learning, and deep learning
  • Collaboration with the team to gain an initial understanding of the desired solution and iteratively develop and refine the UI and backend
  • Participation in product development from concept to execution to launch to ensure the product fully serves the needs of the end user
  • Team collaboration, documentation, and technical assistance and support as required
  • Development and maintenance of software modules of web, database, and work collaboration applications in support of authorized software
  • Maintenance of software program standards and procedures for software development projects
  • Assistance with defining requirements, recommending solutions, and implementing desired solutions
  • Recommendation and coordination of resolution of software problems when discrepancies are identified
  • Advice to project teams in the use of software engineering technologies, providing instruction, consultancy, and guidelines on software
  • Continuing investigation of methods to improve software quality and software development productivity
  • Development and management of intranet and internet web pages
  • Publishing of local home book/contract information on local intranet/Share Point site

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or a similar field, and/or equivalent work experience. IT-related certifications are desirable. The candidate must be a US National, have a valid Home Country Driver's License to obtain a Host Country Driver's License, and have an Active Security Clearance. Proficiency in testing frameworks and writing tests, common development tools, such as Git and Dev Ops, and strong computer skills in the use of MS Office are required. The candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate orally in English with a high level of proficiency. 3-5 years' experience developing and maintaining web servers in a Microsoft Environment and 1-3 years development experience with VB, Java, .NET, or equivalent tools are preferred.
