Job Overview:

Vectrus, Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. As an Electrical Engineer with Vectrus, you will play a critical role in designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems to meet specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, and quality.
  • Invent new approaches to problems and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.
  • Inspect and verify materials, products, and equipment conformance to specifications.
  • Conduct field surveys and other data collection activities.
  • Prepare training material and conduct training on locating electrical certifications and validating authenticity of electrical items.
  • Ensure control and maintenance of all related documents for material, product, or equipment retention period.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an internationally accredited University.
  • At least 5 years of related engineering experience.
  • Knowledgeable in British Standards, local Host Nation Codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), and International Building Code (IBC).
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, Vectrus offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Working Conditions:

The worker is subject to extreme heat temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an internationally accredited University.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of related engineering experience.
  • Skills: Knowledgeable in British Standards, local Host Nation Codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), and International Building Code (IBC). Strong leadership and analytical skills. Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills.
