Job Description:

Job Purpose

The Business Development Advisor will play a critical role in securing business opportunities aligned with Kuwait's production goals by conducting asset benchmarking, due diligence, and evaluating partnerships' viability.

Main Duties

  1. Conduct thorough due diligence on potential assets to assess their level of attractiveness for a partnership.
  2. Collaborate with Petroleum Economists to review and analyze the economics of potential assets.
  3. Coordinate assessment activities on selected assets, ensuring compliance with COMPANY policies.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to assess the asset's commercial viability and budget alignment.
  • Draft and ensure all Terms and Conditions for the tender process are reviewed by relevant stakeholders and endorsed by responsible authorities.
  • Participate in meetings with potential partners during all phases of the tender cycle.
  • Act as the focal point for all post-tender adjustments in the Terms and Conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technically related disciplines.
  • Minimum 15+ years of technical and commercial experience in O&G E&P operations.
  • Experience in projects involving assessing the economics of potential assets, conducting regulatory assessments, and drafting Terms and Conditions.
