Role Overview:

This role involves performing critical aircraft inspections and testing of aircraft structures and components.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Perform thorough inspections and tests using non-destructive testing equipment and techniques.
  • Utilize various inspection methods including visual, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, and spectrometric oil analysis.
  • Process exposed X-ray film for viewing and interpretation.
  • Practice safety and fire precautions around aircraft and work centers.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of experience as a NDT technician.
  • Graduate of a Maintenance NDT/Inspection course.
  • Operator training in liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, spectrometer, X-ray, and eddy current.
  • Certification under MIL-STD-410, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, or other equivalent qualification program up to Level II certification.
  • Pass a vision test showing near vision of at least one eye ortho-rate eight or Jaeger #2 at 12 inches.
