Orthodontist Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthodontist Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontics and be able to provide exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Participate in the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care needs.
  • Patient Care: Undertake work in accordance with hospital procedures and operating policies, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Communication Skills: Interview patients, ensure fulfillment of clinic visit formalities, and maintain open communication throughout treatment.
  • Treatment Options: Examine teeth, assess treatment options, and formulate comprehensive treatment plans with patients.
  • Dental-Facial Structures: Examine, diagnose, and treat abnormalities in development of jaws, position of teeth, and other dental-facial structures.
  • Appliance Design and Fabrication: Design and fabricate appliances, such as space maintainers, retainers, and labial and lingual arch wires, to alter position and relationship of teeth and jaws.
  • Gum Examination and Treatment: Examine gums, prescribe medicine, and apply topical medication to swollen gums.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient details and maintain strict confidentiality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: PhD/MD/Fellowship/Membership in Orthodontics.
  • Experience: Preferably 8 years of experience with minimum 3 years post PhD/MD/Fellowship/Membership in Orthodontics.
