Join Vectrus, a leading provider of IT and network solutions, as a Ritch Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of Ritch and other material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform field and sustainment level maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of Ritch and other material handling equipment.
- Check and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, remote control systems, and variable frequency drives of crane equipment.
- Ensure work conforms to standards and requirements as outlined in technical manuals, commercial-off-the-shelf manuals, and local SOP/IOPs.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to ensure maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Documented maintenance training on Ritch.
- Three (3) years of experience in Ritch maintenance.
- Knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
- Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
- High-level organization and planning skills to manage workflow efficiently and accurately.
This position requires the ability to work in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The indoor and outdoor environment will be very adverse and harsh, with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months.
Physical Requirements:This position requires light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
