Bulk Plant Helper Job Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting in the cutting and preparation of cement bags for bulk plant operations. The successful candidate will load cement bags onto the bulk plant equipment and assist with unloading materials as needed. Additionally, they will support the storage and organization of materials in the warehouse or bulk plant, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored in the correct locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in inventory counts and help monitor material levels to ensure supplies are available for daily operations.
• Support in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the storage areas and equipment, keeping all pathways clean and thorough.
• Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping duties around the bulk plant, ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and organized.
• Help maintain equipment cleanliness and assist in minor maintenance tasks under the supervision of operators.
• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while assisting with bulk plant operations.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in safety training and awareness sessions as required.
• Work closely with operators and supervisors, assisting them in day-to-day tasks as required.
• Ensure a smooth workflow by providing additional support during peak operational periods.
Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates having a High School or Technical Trade Certificate or Diploma. Two to three years relevant experience in oil field operations is also required. Candidates must be able to understand basic English instructions, guidelines, and procedures.
