Job Description

LAPA (Loyac Academy of Performing Arts) is seeking a skilled Dance Director to lead the dance department.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the dance department, overseeing all activities and creative approaches.
  • Create curriculum and teach various dance programs.
  • Re-establish the dance troop at LAPA and develop a new strategy to promote growth post-COVID.
  • Connect opportunities for the betterment of the dance department.
  • Guide colleagues and mentor students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in a relevant field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience as a dancer, teacher, or academic leader.
  • Accredited teacher/academic certification.
  • Well-connected in the industry with strong managerial skills.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
