We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Postal Operations Manager to join our team at Vectrus. Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of postal staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve postal operations, including streamlining processes and increasing productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of postal services with other logistics functions.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of postal activities, including mail manifests and inventory.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all mail and packages, adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in postal operations or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. The role will involve working in extreme weather conditions, with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and will require the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
