Tax Manager Role Overview

The tax manager will be working closely with clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored advice to meet their specific needs. This may involve conducting audits, reviewing financial statements, and identifying areas where tax savings can be made.

In addition to providing client-facing services, the tax manager will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that clients are compliant with all relevant requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides expert advice and guidance on taxation matters to clients
  • Analyzes complex tax laws and regulations, identifies potential risks, and develops strategies to minimize tax liabilities
  • Works closely with clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored advice to meet their specific needs
  • Conducts audits, reviews financial statements, and identifies areas where tax savings can be made
  • Stays up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients are compliant with all relevant requirements
  • Manages multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, working independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of general tax experience, preferably with at least a year focused on taxation
  • Consulting and compliance experience is needed
  • Experience with inbound and outbound international tax is preferred
  • Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills required
  • Good knowledge of tax and business laws and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field
  • Advanced degree such as MST, JD or LLM preferred. CPA preferred
  • Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Arabic is a plus
