Job Description:

The Air Traffic Control (ATC) Liaison Watch Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of air traffic within designated airspace. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, as the supervisor is responsible for guiding and assisting host nation personnel in achieving this goal.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain situational awareness of air traffic operations at assigned facilities and oversee all ATC facility operations and services during shifts.
• Apply rules of separation to ensure required separation of aircraft, as outlined in FAA manuals and orders.
• Coordinate with various controllers and personnel to relay critical information regarding aircraft safety, including emergency situations.
• Familiarize yourself with radar or control tower operations and apply relevant separation procedures.
• Ensure the safety of vehicles and personnel operating on airfields while controlling aircraft and processing flight plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of RADAR/Manual approach control operations, control tower operations, and flight planning techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software and possess effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
