This position will be responsible for supervising drilling teams, ensuring that operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

  • Supervising drilling teams to ensure that operations are conducted safely and efficiently
  • Developing and implementing operational procedures and guidelines
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with drilling operations
  • Communicating with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Supervision: Supervise drilling teams to ensure that operations are conducted safely and efficiently, providing guidance and support as needed.
  2. Procedure Development: Develop and implement operational procedures and guidelines, ensuring that they are aligned with company policies and industry standards.
  3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks associated with drilling operations, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, providing regular updates and progress reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in drilling operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong technical knowledge of drilling operations, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
