About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Assembly Planning Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of assembly planning, digital validation, and process optimization techniques.

Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of product, process, and assembly hierarchy to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure DfAM considerations are integrated into the early planning stages.
  • Analyze product studies and define assembly processes that prioritize quality, safety, delivery, and ergonomics.
  • Associate part, tool, and quality attributes with process definitions.
  • Develop preliminary line balance, TAKT time, and cycle time plans.
  • Design small jigs and fixtures to support efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Perform time studies using MTM or MOST standards and suggest enhancements or improvements.
  • Lead project management efforts with a focus on delivery, quality, time, and innovation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering and assembly domain from the automotive industry with a deep understanding of assembly processes.
