Visual Merchandising Manager Job Description

The Visual Merchandiser Manager is responsible for developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that enhance the customer shopping experience, drive sales, and reinforce the brand's image.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing Visual Merchandising Strategies: Plan and execute initiatives across all store locations to align with the brand's image and business goals.
  2. Store Display and Layout Creation: Lead the creation of captivating merchandise displays and store layouts that attract and engage customers.
  3. Planogram Development and Execution: Collaborate with the merchandising team to create and oversee planograms that optimize product placement, traffic flow, and visual appeal.
  4. Inventory Management and Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with inventory and purchasing teams to ensure product availability, and manage stock replenishment for visual displays.
  5. Visual Communication and Signage: Manage signage, banners, and visual communication materials, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and guidelines.
  6. Window Display Design and Rotation: Lead the design and rotation of window displays that reflect the brand's essence, coordinating changes for seasons, holidays, and promotions.
  7. Team Leadership and Training: Train and supervise the visual merchandising team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance.
  8. Customer Experience Improvement: Collaborate with store managers and sales teams to understand customer preferences and improve the in-store experience.
  9. Market Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into visual displays to maintain a competitive edge.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, fashion, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience in visual merchandising, including supervisory or managerial roles.
  3. Exceptional creativity and aesthetics.
  4. Background in watches & jewelry is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in visual design software and tools.
  6. Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
  7. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Knowledge of retail operations and customer behavior.
