Job Description:

The Unified Communications Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for designing and implementing voice and video communication systems. With expertise in VoIP technologies, the successful candidate will ensure seamless connectivity across medium to large environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of new and existing VoIP technologies, including Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) technology
  • Management and maintenance of Tier 1 Cisco Call Managers, Presence, Unity servers, Session Border Controllers (SBC), and Session Management Edition (SME)
  • Collaboration with Network Operations Centers (NOC) teams to optimize VoIP traffic and prevent network congestion
  • Expert technical support for Voice & Video networks, services, system upgrades, and equipment purchases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level II certification and one baseline certification from the list: Cisco CCNP: Security, CompTIA CASP ce, ISACA CISA, ISC2 CISSP (or Associate), GIAC GCED, GIAC GCIH
  • Minimum five years of experience in administrative, technical work, with hands-on experience in VoIP technologies in medium to large environments
