**Culinary Team Lead:**
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and drive exceptional food quality and customer satisfaction.
About the Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the culinary team, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the culinary team and manage kitchen operations.
- Manage the quality of dishes served and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Plan and price menu items, order supplies, and maintain records and accounts.
- Supervise and participate in cooking, baking, and the preparation of foods.
- Check all purchased supplies for quality and account for each delivered item.
- Menu planning, menu development, cost-effective budgeting, and hygiene maintenance.
- Monitor quality standards of products in the cafe with team members, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Establish, implement, and control performance to achieve the highest possible hygiene standards.
- Minimize operating equipment breakage and streamline efficient resource and equipment flow.
- Be demanding and critical regarding food quality and service standards.
- Prepare and regularly update the food and beverage production budget, ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
- Motivate and develop a positive culinary team.
- Ensure all kitchens are managed efficiently according to established concept statements and brand standards.
