About the Role
This is a full-time Faculty position appointment to teach Biology and Biotechnology courses. The successful candidate will be able to teach basic and advanced biology courses, demonstrate experience with standard industry tools, and show familiarity with instructional technology and learning management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching Biology and Biotechnology courses to undergraduate students
- Developing and implementing curriculum for biology and biotechnology programs
- Mentoring students in research projects and academic development
- Participating in program assessment and evaluation
- Collaborating with faculty from across disciplines to enhance teaching and learning
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Effective communication skills in English
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse university community
- Experience working with English language learners is highly desirable
Desirable Qualifications
- Industry/Professional Experience in Biology (or related field): 5 years
- University Teaching: 5 years
