About the Tenure-Track Position
This tenure-track position is designed to attract and retain outstanding faculty members who can lead and innovate in their respective areas of expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a strong research program, teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, and engage in service activities that support the department and the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Engineering with a specialty in Computer Vision, Network/Cyber Security, Hardware in Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics
- Develop and maintain a strong research program that aligns with the department's goals and priorities
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curricula and programs that meet the needs of industry and academia
- Mentor students and provide guidance on academic and professional development
Requirements
A PhD in Computer Engineering or closely related field from a reputable North American (U.S. or Canada) or Western European university is required, along with at least three years of teaching experience after the doctoral degree. Excellent communication skills in English are also required.
