Master Locksmith

The Locksmith Senior will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to locksmithing and physical security. These responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:

• Install new locks and repair or replace existing ones
• Disassemble mechanical or electrical locking devices and reassemble them after repairs
• Use lock picks to open locked doors without working keys
• Drill or manipulate safes to gain entry
• Change safe combinations by installing new or repaired tumblers
• Make new or duplicate keys using key cutting machines
• Establish keying systems for buildings
• Assist locked-out individuals in gaining access to their residences
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections of lock assemblies

Education/Certifications:

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a locksmith is required
• Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Locksmith certification is required
• Registered safe technician is preferred
• A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a host nation Driver's License is required
