The Role

We are seeking a skilled Heating and Cooling Technician to join our team. As a Heating and Cooling Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks on various HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, repairing, and testing HVAC systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems.
  • Repair and replace faulty components as needed.
  • Test and adjust HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications:
    • High school Diploma or equivalent.
    • Utilities Equipment Repairer (MOS 91C) or civilian equivalent training.
    • A valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operators License and Kuwait Heavy (Public) Drivers License.
    • EPA 608 (Type 1 and 2) & 609 certifications required.
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or ability to obtain a CAC.
  • Experience:
    • Must have 2 years of experience as a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technician; or a combination of formal training and experience totaling 2 years as a HVAC Technician.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to communicate proficiently in English, both verbally and written.
    • Possesses in-depth knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
    • Must have effective communication, customer service, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels to include multi-national staff, superiors, and ranking military officers.
    • Must be able to work with people of diverse background. Must be knowledgeable of/possesses the ability to identify the military rank structure.
    • Possesses ability to perform root cause analysis and prepare Corrective Actions Plans. Must be able to function effectively with little to no guidance.
    • Possesses excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).
    • Ability to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
