About this Role

  • As a Senior Jira Software Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the entire Atlassian Cloud ecosystem to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
  • You will design, document, and implement process automation in Jira to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • This role involves developing integrations between Jira and data warehouses to enable informed decision-making through data analysis.
  • You will create analytical dashboards that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
  • In addition, you will design and create learning resources that scale effectively.
  • Collaboration with global engineering, operations, and support teams is essential to drive success in this role.
  • You will also own critical escalations, resolving them in a timely manner while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • We are looking for an individual with an outstanding academic record from high school and university.
  • Hands-on experience as an administrator in Atlassian Jira and its ecosystem is required.
  • An in-depth understanding of common Jira usage patterns across technical and non-technical departments is necessary.
  • A background as a software developer in Python, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, is preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including curiosity, flexibility, and accountability, are required.
  • You should have the ability to work collaboratively with remote team members and stakeholders, remaining highly motivated, productive, and organized.
  • Occasional international travel may be required for company events (up to two weeks per year).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • A perspective on process architecture and design would be beneficial.
  • Experience with complex cross-project automation is desirable.
