About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to lead our pastry department and create innovative pastry menus. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry operations, including menu development, inventory management, and team training.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement new pastry menus that align with our restaurant's concept and standards.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
- Train and mentor pastry chefs to maintain high-quality standards and develop their skills.
- Oversee the production of all pastries, desserts, and breads in a timely manner.
- Ensure food safety practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to create dessert options for special events or catering orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Proven track record of creating innovative and delicious pastry menus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Fluent in English (Malayalee preferred).
